A FREIGHT train wrecked on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad track in Belmont May 14, 1915. Daniel L. Frizzi Jr. reported in "An American Railroad Portrait: People, Places and Pultney," that the worst train wreck in Belmont County occurred in 1907 in Pultney Township.
