WWVA Individuals - All Dressed Up

ALL DRESSED UP to celebrate the 25th anniversary in 1945 were these individuals at WWVA in Wheeling. On Nov. 2, 1920, the first commercial radio station, was launched. It was KDKA in Pittsburgh, and the first broadcast reported on the returns of the 1920 presidential election, which Warren G. Harding would eventually go on to win. Broadcasts at WWVA began in 1926.
