BELL, Charles Leslie, 77, of Warnock, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at his home.
He was born in New Cumberland, West Virginia on May 20, 1935, son of the late Osburn Clovis Bell and Hazel Audrey Billitter Bell.
Charles was a retired employee of North American Coal Co. Powhatan 3 Mine. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Charles Bell; two sisters, Viola Mae Funkhouser and Mary Gorrell; two brothers, Robert Lee Allen Bell and Clovis Osburn Bell; son- in-law, Raymond Sabo; and granddaughter, Angel Lorraine Duffey;.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Boyd Bell; children, Charles (Barbara) Thatcher of Palm Bay, Florida, Kim (Delbert) Sexton of Stewartsville, Audrey Sabo of Jacobsburg; step-children, Bill (Brenda) Kirkland of Belmont, George (Cathy) Kirkland of Dilles Bottom, Charles (Dayna Politylo) Kirkland of Pittsburgh, PA, Mary Lou (Rick) Schmitt of Belmont, Virginia Sue (Tom) Kovaly of Belmont and Vicky (Dave) Lent of Salesville; two sisters, Dorothy Jeffers of Flushing and Geraldine (Don) West of Dysart Woods; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Private services held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville.
