ST. CLAIRSVILLE - Changes are coming to the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsivlle. Some are already in process.

It was announced in February that Boscov Department Store will be making the mall its home, taking up residence in the location of the former Levin Furniture.

This week, the Caffaro Company announced that MC Sports will also be joining the mall's roster of expanding retailers.

?Fun Zone, currently housed adjacent to Sears inside the Ohio Valley Mall, has moved to the former site of Deals to make way for MC?Sports, a new addition to the facility’s retail roster.

MC Sports offers a full range of gear for nearly every sport, including baseball, football, basketball, golf, tennis, hunting, camping and fishing.

It also houses an extensive selection of health, fitness and exercise equipment, along with athletic footwear.

MC Sports will be housed adjacent to Sears in a spot currently occupied by the Fun Zone, the former sight of the mall's Old Navy store.

Fun Zone is relocating outside of the mall's main structure to the location formerly occupied by Deals and right next to David's Bridal.

MC Sports will occupy nearly 23,000 feet of retail space.

Founded in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1946, MC Sports now operates 74 stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. Every MC Sports store gives back to its community through team sponsorships, fund raising programs, team discounts and a long-standing commitment to the Children's Miracle Network.

As one of the few remaining privately held sporting goods chains, MC Sports is truly a unique retailer.

Built on a foundation of service, family, convenience, community, and integrity, MC Sports is committed to offering quality, top-name sports gear at competitive prices. More information is available on the store's website, www.mcsports.com.

MC Sports and Boscov's are the two major additions coming to the mall in the coming months. But their additions are far from the only changes.

To make way for the additional square footage Boscov's requires, some of the surrounding stores have been relocated.

Victoria's Secret has already settled in nicely into its temporary new location across the walkway from its previous. It is now housed in the former Velocity Sportswear.

Pac Sun, which was located across the walkway from Victoria's Secret's former location has closed up shop and is not relocating. It shut its doors at the end of March.

Victoria's Secret's final destination is being remodeled currently. It will be located in a combining of Pac Sun's and Payless ShoeSource's spaces.

Payless, along with Books-a-Million, are also receiving new homes as the mall wing anchored by Sears is going through major changes.

Kitchen Collection's has also settled into its new home, a few stalls down from its former spot.

The Shoe Department is preparing for a major upgrade in size while moving just across the hall from its current residence. It will host its grand re-opening on Friday, May 10 at noon.

Raven Rock Workwear's relocation is complete. Like the Fun Zone, it now resides on the outskirts of the main mall complex, situated between H.H. Gregg and CVS Pharmacy.
