Cayla Paboucek and Austin Pierce, both of St. Clairsville, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Christy Paboucek of Barnesville. She is a 2008 graduate of Barnesville High School and a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Ohio University Eastern, with a bachelor of specialized studies degree in social work, sociology and health. She is employed by Cambridge Counseling Center as a case manager and is a facilitator of The Strengthening Families Program at the Harrison Hills City School District.
Her fiance is the son of Betty Pierce and the late Rodger Pierce of Belmont, W.Va. He is a 1998 graduate of Saint Marys High School in Saint Marys, W.Va. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2002 when he was honorably discharged. He is currently employed by BBR Drilling as a rig hand.
A Nov. 2 wedding is planned at House of the Sheppard in New Athens, Ohio.
