Times Leader

Are you looking for something fun to do with your friends? The Friends of the St. Clairsville Public Library will be hosting a new event on Friday, June 28 called, "Trivia with Friends!"

At this event, there will be ten rounds of questions, with ten questions in each round. Trivia will cover categories like TV Theme Songs, Celebrities as Babies, Ohio Valley Sports Trivia, Literature, and many more. The score for the Trivia game will be kept by the Friends, and teams will be ranked after each round. Winning teams will receive great prizes that will be announced soon!

For Trivia with Friends, a group of friends may work together as a team, or, if you would like to register alone, you will be added to a team. Chairs are set up in groups of eight, and there will be twelve tables. If registered together, teams will not be split up.

Teams are asked bring their own snacks and beverages, such as chips and salsa, pretzels, chips and dip, hummus, shrimp, wine, hard lemonade, ice tea, etc. Because of the beverages and a raffle, participants must be 21 and older to attend.

Registered participants are asked to bring their own glasses, but cups will be available for the keg of beer being provided by the Friends of the Library. Also, candy, a few liters of soft drinks, and ice will be given to every table.

To register for this exciting, new event, get your team together, and then call the St. Clairsville Public Library front desk (740-695-2062).

The cost is $25 per person, and those interested need not be a St. Clairsville resident, or holder of a library card.

After registration, a Friend of the Library will contact you about purchasing and retrieving your ticket.

This event will be held in the Barn at Feisley's Tree Farm in Belmont, and doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the game starting at 7 p.m.

Only 96 seats are available, so be sure to reserve your spot now! This will be the, "talk of the town!"
