Law enforcement officers visited Bellaire for the Safety Camp for Kids in conjunction with Belmont Community Health Center. Nearly 30 youngsters, ages 4 - 5, learned that officers are their friends and how to be safe under various scenarios. Pictured is JaNiya Zuk, center, in one of the go-carts. Also pictured, from the left, are Belmont County Sheriff Sgt. James Zusack; Ohio State Highway Patrolman Ralph Hendershot; Belmont County Sheriff Dave Lucas; and Bellaire Lieutenant Donna Baroch. A K9 officer from the St. Clairsville Police Department also participated. The camp attendees learn about personal safety on a wide-range of issues.
