BRITTANY?POTKOSKI, owner and educator at Ms. Brittany’s Preschool in Adena, is hosting an open house Sunday, Oct. 6 from 2-4 p.m.

Potkoski learned much from that experience and she truly enjoyed her time with the kids.

But it's been her dream to operate her very own preschool so she converted the basement of her home at 9670 C.R. 10 in Adena into a warm and inviting environment to foster learning and creative play.

"My main goal is to show each child how much fun learning really can be," Potkoski said.

"I strive to provide an environment and positive learning experience that your child will want to come back to each and every week."

For Children ages 3-4, Ms. Brittany's offers a half-day program form 8:30 a.m. until noon and a full day program that stretches until 3:30 p.m.

These classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday.

The 4-5 age group has classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, also featuring a half and full-day schedule.

While the philosophy is the same for both groups, Potkoski noted that the upper-level class will be more geared toward getting the kids ready to enter kindergarten on the right foot.

Potkoski's website at www.msbrittanyspreschool.com also features a detailed breakdown of the daily slate of activities, ranging from reading, writing and fine motor skills work to match, science and social studies.

Ms. Brittany's Preschool will create a fun, interactive environment where its students will learn and grow and prepare them for that all important first step into their schooling.

For more information, visit the preschool online or phone (740) 391-3053 or (614) 499-2368.
