DYLAN BURKHART, Barnesville. Carried the rock a mere eight times, but ran for a career-high 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns in first win of the season.
LEVI PHILLIPS, Beallsville. Completed 17 of 27 passes for 103 yards as the Blue Devils dropped their home opener to Frontier. He also ran nine times for 13 yards and a TD. On defense, he charted seven total tackles. He also punted six times for a 28.7 average.
DALTON SECREST, Beallsville. Two-way standout excelled on both sides of the ball, making 15 tackles, of which five were quarterback sacks. He had five solo stops and assisted on four others, with one being for minus yardage. He graded out at 95 percent on offense.
TRISTAN WEST, Beallsville. Made 11 tackles, including five solo tackles and two tackles for losses. He had one QB sack.
BRYAN STYLES, Martins Ferry. had a dozen carries for 69 yards and two touchdowns as the Purple Riders' quarterback. He also had four tackles and an interception which he returned for 63 yards.
LUKE STRAUB, Martins Ferry. Registered eight tackles and an interception on defense. Offensively, he graded out at 93 percent from his guard slot.
MARK DOUGLAS, Martins Ferry. Charted four tackles, fprced a fumble and recovered a fumble. Graded out at 95 percent at center.
LEVI BROWN, Monroe Central. He had 19 carries for 171 yards and three TDs in rout of Fort Frye.
MIKE JONES, Monroe Central. Charted a team-best 12.5 tackles, a quarterback sack and 2.5 tackles for lost yardage.
CHRIS LITTELL, Shadyside. Carried the ball 13 times for 124 yards and two TDs in blowout of Toronto.
AUSTIN DORRIS, Shadyside. Ran the ball just seven for 107 yards, a pair of touchdowns and a 2-point conversion.
MICHAEL FERNS, St. Clairsville. Had a fine all-around game in blanking of Indian Creek. He had seven carries for 39 yards and a TD, while also making one reception for 27 yards and another six points. He was credited with 20 tackles.
JAYLON BROWN, St. Clairsville. Carried the ball 17 times for 107 Yards and a TD before suffering a knee injury.
MICHAEL and JOHN BLAND, St. Clairsville. Center and left guard that each graded out at 94%.
BRENDAN FERNS, St. Clairsville. Sophomore linebacker was in on 14 tackles.
BRIGEE MICK, St. Clairsville. The Red Devils' outside hitter
recorded seven aces and serving at a 90.5 percent accuracy in a pair of wins over Harrison Central and Martins Ferry. She also charted 14 digs, 15 kills and 26 points. Her passing accuracy was 100 percent while her serve-receive was 93 percent.
GABBIE ESPEN, St. Clairsville. The Red Devils' setter has a combined 64 assists in the two matches.
