Mingo Junction - 1950's

October 16, 2013
Times Leader

IN THE late 1950s Mingo Junction was a bustling steel town. There were many businesses to choose from. This was the 5 and 10 run by the Boyer family. There was also a Boyer 5 and 10 in Tiltonsville where the Boyers resided. You can see Carl Boyer unlocking the door for a day of business. The 5 and 10 is back, only now it is called Dollar General.
