FOOTBALL

CHASE MERCER, Beallsville - Completed 13 passses for 180 yards and two TDs in loss at Shadyside. Defensively, he had six total tackles and intercepted a pass.

DEREK LUCAS, Beallsville - Caught five passes for 90 yards and a TD. Also caught 2-point conversion pass. On defense, he charted two tackles.

DALTON SECREST, Beallsville - Graded out at 95 percent on blocking. On defense, he was in on 11 total tackles, with six being solo stops and one quarterback sack.

BRANDON LAUGHMAN, Bellaire - In his Big Reds' debut, he ran 11 times for 165 yards in win at Indian Creek.

SPENCER BADIA, Bellaire - Completed 15 of 26 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns. Also ran for a score.

NICK PATRONE, Bellaire - Caught four passes for 95 yards and a pair of scores.

BRIAN STYLES, Martins Ferry - Carried the ball nine times for 36 yards, while completing 11 of 13 passes for 194 yards and a TD in win at Union Local. Defensively, had three tackles.

ARJAY BURRESS, Martins Ferry- Lugged the leather 13 times for 78 yards and a touchdown. On defensive, he logged five tackles and an INT for an 85-yard TD.

JAKE BARRITT, Martins Ferry - Caught seven passes for 94 yards. On defense, had four stops.

BRUCE BURGER, Martins Ferry- Had seven carries for 60 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He made six tackles and a sack defensively.

BRYCE CROSS, River - This Pilot had a big game in helping his team to its first victory. He ran for two scores, caught a touchdown pass, blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown. On defense, he had two interceptions, two solo and nine assisted tackles.

CHRIS LITTELL, Shadyside - Ran the ball 15 times for 145 yards and a touchdown in rout of Beallsville.

ERIC HOWELL, Shadyside - Had just eight carries, but totalled 110 yards and found the end zone three times.

AUSTIN DORRIS, Shadyside - Carried the leather a mere four times, but picked up 98 yards and scored a TD. Defensively, he returned an interception 45 yards for six points.

MIKE MONTEROSO, St. Clairsville-Was 10-for-17 for 169 yards and two touchdowns in victory against Harrison Central.

SHANE PERONI, St. Clairsville - In first varsity start, he ran for 101 yards on 12 carries and scored two touchdowns.

ZACH MUSILLI, St. Clairsville - Was perfect on all four PAT attempts and banged home a pair of field goals. He also had three touchbacks on kickoffs.

BRENDAN FERNS, St. Clairsville - Charted 13 total tackles, with a pass broken up and a caused fumble on defense. Offensively, he hauled in three passes for 39 yards and a TD.

JOEL GIFFIN, JOHN BLAND and MICHAEL FURBEE, St. Clairsville - All three offensive lineman graded out at 85 percent.

MASON FRIEDE, Union Local - Charted 14 tackles, with 12 being solo stops and three for lost yardage.

COLTON MCKIVITZ, Union Local-Had eight tackles, with two for losses and a quarterback sack. He gradeed out at 88 percent along the offensive line.

PATRICK ABBOUD, Union Local - Was in on eight tackles, with a pair of minus yards. Had an 86 percent grade on the offensive line.
