D.J. LUCAS, Beallsville. Caught four passes for 102 yards and a touchdown in victory over Bridgeport. Also caught a pair of 2-point conversion passes. Defensively, he had three tackles.

LEVI PHILLIPS, Beallsville. Hauled in a 22-yard scoring pass among his two catches. Charted four solo tackles and six assisted tackles.

DALTON SECREST, Beallsville. Was all over the field as he graded out at 95 percent blocking. On defense, he made 17 tackles, including two quarterback sacks, two caught behind the line stops, four solo and nine assisted.

AARON WEST, Beallsville. Had 10 tackles, including four solo, three assists and a trio of sacks.

BRENDON ROSS, Bellaire. Made three solo tackles and intercepted a pass in Big Reds' triumph over Harrison Central. Also, had two catches for 10 yards and a TD.

KENNY HESS, Bellaire. Charted 11 solo tackles and an assist. Caught five passes for 48 yards.

BRANDON LAUGHMAN, Bellaire. Carried the leather 25 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

AUSTIN MCCONVILLE, Bellaire. Made six tackles and intercepted a pass in the end zone.

MORGAN DOUGHERTY, Buckeye Trail. Had another outstanding game with 206 yards rushing on 11 carries and three touchdowns in rout of winless West Muskingum. He also completed 5 of 7 passes for 151 stripes and a fourth TD.

TRAVIS PONTIUS, Buckeye Trail. Ran the ball 13 times for 92 yards and two touchdowns. Made six tackles on defense.

TRISTEN KING, Buckeye Trail. Charted a team-best 11 tackles, including eight solo stops. Offensively, he carried the ball three times for 16 yards and a touchdown.

CODEY KIMBLE, Buckeye Trail. Scored a touchdown among his three carries, while making seven tackles, six of which were solo stops.

ARJAY BURRESS, Martins Ferry. Lugged the leather 11 times for 135 yards and a TD in win at Indian Creek. Defensively, he finished with seven tackles from his outside linebacker spot.

JAMES EDWARDS, Martins Ferry. Sophomore quarterback stepped in and went 8-for-16 for 168 yards and a game-winning TD with :26 left.

JACK FITCH, Martins Ferry. Landed two catches for 105 yards, including the game-winning, 58-yard TD with :26 left. Also, had three tackles defensively.

JAKE BARRITT, Martins Ferry. He caught three passes for 30 yards offensively. Defensively, the cornerback was in on nine tackles, forced a fumble and returned a punt 47 yards for a score.

MATT BARBOUR, Martins Ferry. In his first action at defensive end for the Purple Riders, he was in on eight stops, including three behind the line of scrimmage.

MIKE JONES, Monroe Central. Made 10 tackles, including four behind the line of scrimmage in blanking of Barnesville.

CURTIS NIXON, Monroe Central. Lugged the leather only seven times, but picked up 151 yards and scored three times. He was 5 of 10 for 108 yards via the air and a TD. On defense, he picked off a pass.

LEVI BROWN, Monroe Central. Carried the ball eight times for 91 yards and a touchdown.

JAKE SCHUERMAN, Monroe Central. Charted eight tackles from his linebacker spot.

JORDAN SAPP, River. Ran for five touchdowns and 128 yards on three dozen carries in shootout victory over Shenandoah.

CHRIS LITTELL, Shadyside. Ran the ball just six times, but gained 93 yards and scored a touchdown on an 85-yard jaunt against Union Local. Also caught three passes for 44 yards and another six-pointer.

JAYLON BROWN, St. Clairsville. Had 13 carries for 162 yards and scored a trio of touchdowns in lop-sided win over Edison. Defensively, he charted five tackles.

MALIK GUMMER, St. Clairsville. Did just about everything as he carried once for a 54-yard touchdown run and caught a 6-yard pass. On defense, he had a pair of interceptions, returning one a for touchdown. He also made three tackles, broke up a pass and returned a punt 58 yards.

JOHN BLAND, St. Clairsville. Graded out at 88% from his center position.

COLBY LINDSAY, St. Clairsville. Defensive end had eight tackles, with one for minus yardage.


ALEXIS ST. CLAIR, St. Clairsville. Had 26 points, four aces, five digs, 17 kills and 13 blocks in a pair of sectional tournament games.

BRIGEE MICK, St. Clairsville. Charted 19 kills, 20 points, a 98% serve receive accuracy, nine digs and 20 kills.

SUMMER GALLENTINE, St. Clairsville. Had 37 digs and a 95% serve receive accuracy.
