A BRIDGEPORT woman is being held in the Belmont County Jail without bond on a charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.

Tina Jaworski, 44, of 68995 Clearview Acres, was arrested on Sunday by Bridgeport Police. Officers said Jaworski tried to hire a hit man to kill her ex-husband's girlfriend.

Jaworski allegedly met her ex-husband's former co-worker, Matthew Farmer, at Bob Evans Restaurant in Bridgeport and tried to offer him money to kill Shari Shorts who is now the girlfriend of Mike Jaworski.

Mike Jaworski, Farmer and Shorts all worked together at Harch Environmental Resources. Tina Jaworski is employed by Dollar General.

Police said Tina Jaworski had her passport on her when she was arrested.

Martins Ferry Police assisted Bridgeport Police in the arrest.
