SEEVERS, Paul W. “Freckles"

SEEVERS, Paul W. "Freckles," 89, of Bellaire formerly of Tinkletown, died Wednesday January 22, 2014, at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry.

He was born September 28, 1924 in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late Vincent and Ethel (Paul) Seevers.

He was a retired employee of Ohio Power Co. with 40 years of service. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, the Bridgeport Eagles 995, the Polish Club, and Foresters Club both of Bridgeport. Paul was an avid bowler and he loved working with wood. He also loved model trains.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia (Morris) Seevers; a brother, Robert Seevers; and a sister, Dorothy Demastus.

Paul is survived by a son, David (Gloria) Seevers of Blaine; daughters, Joyce (Ralph) Smith of Bellaire, and Kelly (Rick) Kroflich of Rayland; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grand children; and four great-great- grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Friday, January 24, 2014 from 3-8 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with Fr. John Mucha officiating.

Interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine.
