ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- On Feb. 22 and 23, the Ohio Valley Mall will play host to a Home and Business Expo.
The Expo is designed to allow businesses to show consumers what they do and the services they offer. Consumers will be able to learn about services from home improvement companies, builders, healthcare, banks, churches, etc.
Chamber council member Jess Puglisi-Sanders says the event is a nice indication of growth in the Ohio Valley, and the mall was an ideal choice to host thanks to developments completed in the past year.

Sponsors of the expo include Wesbanco Bank, Tim O'Grady of State Farm Insurance, Kelly's Suite II, A.J. Gray Aluminum Products, and The Times Leader.
Darlene Hoffman, manager of the Banking Center in the Ohio Valley Plaza office, explained why WesBanco chose to sponsor the event.
"WesBanco Bank is just pleased to be part of the community. We enjoy the opportunity to serve our St. Clairsville customer base, and deepen those relationships as well as establish new ones. This business expo gives us a wonderful opportunity to display and discuss our large array of goods and services to the Upper Ohio Valley," she said.
Kelly's Suite II sponsored the event for similar reasons. Owner Kelly Cappelletti enjoys involving her home improvement business in community events. Her company offers a variety of services including new construction, interior design, flooring, window treatments, and real estate staging. Kelly's Suite II can be reached by calling (740) 695-9623.
Heidi Clark, T-L Sales Executive, is excited about the expo returning to the mall.
"I think the traffic will be better than ever! We look forward to meeting new businesses and networking with neighboring businesses. I am looking forward to meeting people in the community to see how we can assist them either with advertising ideas or newspaper subscriptions," she said. "I feel we have great relationships with all area chamber of commerce offices and we are pleased to be a sponsor."
Expo Exhibitor spaces are still available, as well as sponsorship opportunities. To apply your business, or simply learn more about the expo, call the Chamber of Commerce at (740)-695-9623 or visit their website at stcchamber.com.
