Bridgeport Sunoco robbed at gun point

BRIDGEPORT - The Sunoco Gas Station in Bridgeport was robbed this morning gun point.

According to Bridgeport Police Chief Andrew Klotz, a man walked into the Sunoco Station wearing a long sleeve hooded military color jacket at 2:45 this morning. He had a black mask covering his face. He was described as being stocky build and standing between 5'9 - 5'10.

Police believe him to be white.

According to Klotz, the man had a handgun and demanded money. Once given a undisclosed amount of money, he left the station on foot before driving off in a vehicle that was parked in the Papa John's parking lot.

Officers are currently reviewing video footage and is canvassing the area. They hope to obtain more information once surrounding businesses open.
