THE SECOND annual bachelor and bachelorette auction, sponsored by Paramount Support Services, is scheduled Saturday, March 22, in the banquet room at Undo's, St. Clairsville.
Not only will there be bidding on the bachelors and bachelorettes participating in the auction, but dinner and music by a disc jockey are planned, and there'll be prizes awarded during fund-raising activities throughout the evening. Prize items include restaurant gift certificates, tanning packages, gift baskets, purses, jewelry, sports items and much more, according to a spokesperson.
Tickets to the event cost $20 a person, and this includes dinner, dessert and a door prize entry.

More than 30 bachelors and bachelorettes ranging in age from 20 to 60 will participate in the auction. Minimum bids will start at $10, and there is no cap on bidding.
All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society and the Relay for Life of Belmont County.
For tickets or information, call Amber Bresiger at 740-298-1191.
Commenting on the first auction, Bresiger said, "Last year, we had a great turnout; about 100-110 folks showed up."
Proceeds from the 2013 event also went to the American Cancer Society and the Relay for Life of Belmont County.
Paramount Support Services doesn't limit its help to those cancer-related groups to the auctions. Bresiger explained two years ago, Paramount was approached about having a team in the Relay for Life. The group participated, and Bresiger said, "We had a great time."
She added Paramount always tries to do a certain amount of charity work. This year will be the third time that Paramount will participate in the special relay.
It was noted Paramount Support Services "is dedicated to providing support to individuals in need as they strive to meet the challenges of each day at home and in the community. Our purpose is to provide supports in all areas of daily life and explore options for opportunities in the home and community, based on the individual's needs and personal goals."
