THE DRIVER of a tanker truck, which went into the Ohio River Sunday, reportedly was uninjured. The vehicle was northbound, just south of Clarington, when it left Ohio 7. It crossed over a troughed area, up a small embankment onto and over the railroad tracks, and the tracks then show it traveled a short distance along a narrow section of the riverbank between the tracks and the river before going into thewater, according to an unofficial report. A Monroe County sheriff’s deputy was on the scene. The vehicle was removed from the river between 1:45 and 2:45 p.m.
