NOLAN, Bernice L., 87, of Wheeling, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Liza's Place, Wheeling.
She was born March 30, 1927 in Duffy, OH, a daughter of the late Edwin S. and Amelia Lively Abrigg.
Bernice was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and numerous clubs and organizations. She loved her family, pets and world travel.
In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Nolan Jr. on January 1, 1994; and three sisters, Audrey, Gloria, and Rosena.
Surviving are her children, Edward J. Nolan III (Risa) of Wheeling, Jane Dorisio (Bob), of Wheeling, Janet Nolan of Wheeling, Patricia Nepa (Raymond), of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Edna Schaum (Joe), of Sardis, OH, Lila Nolan (Jerry), of Bridge port, OH; three brothers, Edwin Abrigg (Ruth) of Bridgeport, OH, John Abrigg (Kay) of Wheeling, and Gerald Abrigg (Reva) of Columbus, OH. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 22, from 4-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, where services will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Michael Steltenkamp, S.J. officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
