Wegee Creek Flash Flooding

A DISASTER, gaining national attention occurred June 14, 1990, when flash flooding from Wegee Creek, Pipe Creek and Cumberland Run resulted in the deaths of 26 persons. It also ruined houses and other structures and swept away vehicles and mobile homes. This house was demolished in the Wegee area near the Fernwood Dairy.
