This group of students from the Key Club at Barnesville High School were caught doing a random act of kindness in their community. The group did some spring cleaning for the Barnesville Senior Center by weeding and cleaning up the landscaping around the building. Barb Ballint, program administrator of SSOBC, was excited to see another group of students get involved in the RASKALS Program. RASKALS stands for Random Acts Of Simple Kindness Affecting Locals Seniors. “This is exactly what I hope for all of the Belmont County Schools to start doing” said Ballint. “There are so many ways that our youth can help our seniors,” she added. Center Director Linda Wells was happy to see what the group was able to do for her center. “We are so thankful for what that group of students did for us here at our center. They were such a nice group of kids,” she stated. The names of the volunteers are as follows: Abby Wharton, Makayla Flood, Morgan Guthrie, Karleigh Clouse, Mallory Christman, Paige Hayes and Macy McEndree
