Sportswriter Jim Wexell talks Steelers quarterback issues
WHEELING — The Ohio County Public Library’s next Lunch With Books program will feature sportswriter Jim Wexell for a discussion about the Pittsburgh Steelers and their quarterback conundrum.
The program is scheduled to take place at noon on Tuesday, March 4, at the library in downtown Wheeling.
Wexell returns to offer a postmortem on what some view as another disappointing Steeler season with a talk titled, “Finding their way out of the Franchise QB Wilderness.” Wexell will also discuss his newest publication, “The Pittsburgh Steelers: An Illustrated Timeline,” a coffee-table book loaded with photos and well-researched vignettes and a must in the home of every Steelers fan.
He will bring copies for sale and signing.
Wexell was born in Chicago and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh.
He has covered the Steelers since 1995.
Other books include “Polamalu” and “Steeler Nation: A Pittsburgh Team, an American Phenomenon.”
