WHEELING — Whether it’s a wedding reception, a bridal or baby shower or graduation party, Perkins Restaurant & Bakery offers custom catering for groups from 25 to 300 people for any special occasion.

With locations in Wheeling and Moundsville, Perkins is a family-style restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner with a variety of “upscale” menu choices for their customers.

Tim Presseler, vice president of operations for Carolla Ventures Inc., which operates both Perkins locations, said the catering options offer a choice of prime rib with two sides, a salad and a roll for $21.95 per person, or one entree with two sides, a salad and a roll for $10.95 per person. He said some of the more popular entree selections for their catering include: pot roast, stuffed chicken and roast pork. In addition, the Perkins brand continues to offer more “upscale” menu choices at the restaurant chain, including a variety of ethnic favors and some spicier selections. The New York Steakhouse Omelet, the Southern Shrimp ‘N Grits and the Southwest Breakfast Burrito are just a few of the mouthwatering choices currently on the Great American Breakfast menu.

In addition to a large variety of entrees, Perkins continues to offer Colemans’s fish (dinner or sandwich) through Easter.

The famed strawberry and chocolate French silk pie and brand new chocolate peanut-butter muffin continue to be popular choices from the dessert and bakery list.

Perkins continues to be a community player — donating to charitable and civic causes throughout the year and is proud to sponsor the annual Perkins Restaurant and Bakery Fantasy in Lights Christmas Parade each year in downtown Wheeling.

The Woodsdale location is open from 6 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 24 hours on Friday and Saturday, while the Moundsville location hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
