Several arrested for drug-related offenses in two Bellaire search warrants
BELLAIRE — Officials arrested multiple people as part of two search warrants on Monroe Street in Bellaire on Monday.
During the investigation, detectives reportedly seized over $4,000 in money suspected to be related to drug crimes as well as 61 grams of suspected fentanyl, 13 grams of suspected crack cocaine and over 40 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
The warrants were served at 3416 and 3408 Monroe Street. The 3408 address has been the subject of multiple other investigations and search warrants in the past, and multiple people associated with the property are serving time for drug and other charges, authorities reported.
The investigation is still ongoing, and law enforcement said several other suspects who were not found at the addresses will likely be charged with drug trafficking.
Twenty-five year old Tanner Weekley was arrested for possessing criminal tools and on felony counts of possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine, as well as a felony count for trafficking crack cocaine. The prosecutor’s office is expected to request child endangerment charges as well, as a juvenile was present during the arrest.
Richard Lee Lynn, 36, was arrested for allegedly possessing criminal tools and trafficking methamphetamine.
Waneta Leasure, 51, was arrested and charged with obstructing official business.
