Teacher recognized for rendering aid

Robyn Hoover, a Title math teacher for kindergarten through third grade at Buckeye North Elementary School, is recognized for her efforts in quickly rendering aid to a student having a medical emergency. The child fell unconscious, and Hoover remained by his side while staff contacted emergency crews. The pupil was treated and has since returned to school. She received a certificate of appreciation for going above and beyond the call of duty and is pictured with Superintendent Coy Sudvary.
