One arrested in Bridgeport drug bust
BRIDGEPORT — A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a 38-year-old Bridgeport resident.
On Wednesday, Bridgeport police with assistance of the Belmont County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant in the 900 block of Howard Street. Officers seized approximately 46 grams of crack cocaine, $1,296 in cash, scales, plastic bags, about 6 ounces of marijuana, and a marijuana grow operation.
Antaun Pierre Murphy was arrested and charged with first-degree felony trafficking in cocaine, first-degree felony possession of cocaine, and fifth-degree felony trafficking in marijuana. He was jailed in lieu of $42,500 bond.
