Former business partner of Strussions found

The former business partner of a pair of Belmont County residents found murdered in their home, who had been missing since June, was found earlier this week according to authorities.

According to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma, law enforcement in Harris County, Texas, informed them that Andrew Griffin was located safe and had been taken into custody for outstanding warrants out of LeFlore and Oklahoma County.

In July, the PCSO announced it was searching for Griffin, who had last been seen in Shawnee, Oklahoma on June 29.

He had left a family member’s home there to head to a job in the Midland/Odessa area of Texas.

Griffin had been driving a company vehicle, a 2023 Dodge Ram pickup.

Griffin was the former business partner of Tom and Angela Strussion, who were were found dead inside their home on Trails End Drive, Belmont, after a fire was reported there on Sept. 21, 2021. Days later, Belmont County Sheriff David Lucas announced their deaths were the result of a double homicide.

At that time, Lucas said Tom Strussion was 52 years old and the owner of two local Salsa Joe’s restaurants — one east of Morristown and one in Wheeling.

Angela Strussion was 49 years old, according to Lucas.
