A few of Santa’s helpers prepare for The Times Leader to host its annual toy giveaway, scheduled from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Friday at its office, located at 200 S. Fourth St. in Martins Ferry. The event is held in conjunction with Operation Toy Lift, sponsored by United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, Belmont County Sheriff’s Department and Wheeling Police Department and is open to children age 10 and younger.
