Neffs Volunteer Fire Department, Cumberland Trail Fire District and OR&W Fire District arrived at B&R Auto Repair around 11 a.m. Saturday to put out a structure fire, according to the Belmont County Dispatch Center. Members of the Kalinowski family, who own the repair shop, said they were out of town to retrieve a recently purchased part needed to repair a vehicle. Nichole Kalinowski said the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the cause and origin of the fire Monday but has yet to make a ruling. No injuries or fatalities occurred, but Kalinowski said everything inside the building was ruled a total loss. She added that the future of the business is unknown and the deciding factor will be what insurance covers.
