SHADYSIDE – Former Shadyside Village Council member Nick Ferrelli has been charged with menacing by stalking in connection with a village employee.

The charge was announced in a news release from the village that was emailed to media by village Solicitor Kelly Kotur.

Kotur later said in a phone interview that Ferrelli was not booked into the Belmont County Jail and was originally scheduled to have his court date on April 15 in Belmont County Eastern Division Court; however, his lawyer, Ted Tsoras, filed a motion to continue the proceeding, which was granted. Ferrelli is now scheduled for a hearing at 9 a.m. April 24.
