JAMES “SCOTTIE” LUCAS

James was born on May 17, 1929 in Yorkville, Ohio to the late George and Dessie (Hashman) Lucas.

James was a retired superintendent for Armco Steel. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Barnesville. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his parents James was preceeded in death by his wife, Elouise M. Lucas; three sisters: Kathleen Betts, Patsy Carpenter, and Laverna Powell; two grandsons: Jimmy Lucas and Jason “Peck” Lucas.

James is survived by his two sons: Joseph (Candace) Lucas of Barnesville and John Lucas of Bethesda; five grandchildren and several great greandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 10 am at Crestview Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Arrangements by Campbell-Plumly- Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
