BEULAH M. BURGHY

She was born September 21, 1931, in Barton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph Christy and Margaret Morgan Christy.

Beulah was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She was a member of the St. Clairsville American Legion Auxiliary Post 159, a former member of the St. Clairsville Chapter 510, Order of Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile, Wardah Husan Temple 53.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Burghy; four sisters, Mabel Ault, Edna Christy, Wilda Christy, and Nina Pickenpaugh; eleven brothers, Glenn, Harry, Raymond, Joseph Jr., Ralph, Merritt, Meredith, John, Arthur, and Lawrence Christy.

Beulah is survived by her two children, John (Patricia) Burghy, and Mary (Dr. Joseph) DePalma; five grandchildren, Lindsey (Ryan) Yanok, Jayme (Justin) Dillon, Cara (Matthew) Michaux, Jenny (Kellen) Petrone, and Jospeh DePalma; and eight great-grandchildren, Rylynn and Asher Yanok, Kylee and Kelsey Dillon, Audrey and Elliott Michaux, Logan and Connor Petrone and one on the way.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dave St. Aubin officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
