HARRY “FRENCHIE” FREESE
Harry Alfred Freese, 73, of Mt. Pleasant, Oh passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born in Martins Ferry, OH on April 10, 1951, the son of the late Doris (Koehnlein) and George Freese.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Freese.
Harry is survived by his four children, Michelle (Michael) Doyle, Melinda (David) Burkhart, Eric (Carrie) Freese, Scott Freese; five grandchildren, Clayton, Abby, Logan, Lexi, Catie; his siblings, Sue Milhorn, Mollie Calhoun, George “Fred” Freese; former wife, Barb Freese; many nieces and nephews; and his companion, Brenda Witchey.
He had worked for R&F Coal, GE and Laborers Local 809, where he was known as a hard worker.
His family, his animals and the Native American Culture were his loves. He loved to always work on something as well as primitive camping, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and the outdoors. He would make his own primitive tents and clothing.
His family wishes to thank Brenda Witchey for caring and comforting him through this difficult time and the staff of the facilities that he had been admitted to, as well.
