BETTY PRYSTASZ

She was born on September 20, 1928 in Key, OH, a daughter to the late Robert and Helen McMahon Palmer.

Betty dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for those she cherished.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike Prystasz; brothers, Bob Palmer, Howard “Ike” Palmer, Chuck Palmer, and Jim Palmer; sister, Vivian Kapak and son-in-law, Ronald Riser.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Susan (Harold) Palmer and Diana Riser; granddaughter, Krista Starr; grandson, Ronald Riser Jr.; great-grandchildren, Marcus and Jacob Miller, Alexis Calis and Alexis, Emma and Audrey Riser.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 186 Main St., Powhatan Point, OH on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 10:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Interment to immediately follow in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, OH.
