NANCY SHEEKETSKI

She was born March 19, 1938 a daughter to the late Louis and Dora (Goodwin) Gentile.

Nancy was a cherished member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shadyside, Ohio, where she found comfort and community throughout her years. Her unwavering faith and kindness left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sisters-in-law, Sally Gentile, Rosalie Jones, and brother-in-law, Russ Jones.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Sheeketski; children, Craig Sheeketski, Jason (Jill) Sheeketski; brother, Ronald Gentile; sister-in-law, Dolly Santavicca; brother- in-law, Pete Santavicca; grandchildren, Britney (Andre) Miller, Breanna (Patrick) Sheeketski, Emily (Qwade) Sheeketski, Janelle Sheeketski, Evan Sheeketski; six great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Family and friends are to be received at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Home 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio on Thursday, December 12 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Additional visitation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 350 E. 40th Street, Shadyside, Ohio on Friday, December 13 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am with Father Daniel Heusel as celebrant. Immediate burial to follow at Powhatan Cemetery.
