SUSAN SCHNEGG

She was born October 9, 1946, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Carl Edward Hess Sr. and Elizabeth “Betty” M. Humphrey Hess.

She was a retired Registered Nurse at Wheeling Hospital and a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ Powhatan Point, OH. Susan was a former member of the Women’s Guild and Church Choir.

Survivors include a husband of 58 years, Donald Schnegg; two sons, David (Brandee) Schnegg of Clarington, OH and Darren (Lori) Schnegg of Dublin, OH; brother, Carl “Ed” (Agnes) Hess Jr of Flushing, OH; four grandchildren, Annie Schnegg, Noah Schnegg, Elizabeth Schnegg and Eric Schnegg; Sister- in-law, Marjorie (Gary) Baumberger of Beallsville, OH; Brother-in-law, James (Mary) Schnegg of Sweetwater, TN; several nieces and nephews; special friends Judy, Terri and Nancy Reynolds.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the St Johns United Church of Christ 51736 German Ridge Road Powhatan Point, OH with Pastor Terri Reynolds officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Johns Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s name to St. Johns Cemetery Fund, 51736 German Ridge Rd, Powhatan Point, OH, 43942.
