ANNA EDEN
Anna R. Eden, 93, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away peacefully at Country Club Retirement Campus in Bellaire, Ohio, on January 26, 2025.
Born on December 4, 1931, a daughter of the late John W. and Dora Bell Bates Shreve
Anna was a cherished homemaker, dedicating her life to her family, which she held as her greatest treasure. Her unwavering devotion to her loved ones, combined with her nurturing spirit, left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.
A devout member of the South Bellaire United Methodist Church, Anna found solace and strength in her faith, often enveloped in the pages of the Holy Bible. She was known for her love of attending church services, where she formed lifelong bonds with fellow parishioners and contributed to her community in quiet, meaningful ways.
Anna’s warm and lively presence was especially felt at local yard sales and shopping excursions, where she delighted in discovering hidden treasures and finding joy in simple pleasures. Her passion for these activities reflected her zest for life and her enthusiasm in sharing experiences with those around her.
Preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Paul L. Eden, siblings; Melissa Belan, Rosalie Slentz, Burlen Shreve and Helen Taylor.
Left to cherish her memory include her sons; Rick (Pam) Eden of Bellaire Ohio, and Tony (Lori) Eden of Bellaire Ohio, grandchildren; Tony (Linda) Eden Jr., Joshua (Lauren) Eden, Jennifer Flowers, great-grandchildren; Hunter Nicole Eden, Tyler Devon Eden, Gage Nathaniel Eden, Paisley Rayne Winkler, Logan James Winkler, Tyler Gail Winkler, Robert Louis Winkler and Courtney Nicole Wisvari, one great-great-grand- daughter; Sutton Kirby as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire Ohio on Thursday January 30, 2025 from 10am until time of funeral service at 1pm. Interment to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire.
Anna’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will continue to inspire those who knew her.
