AMY SCHEEHLE

39 Forever: Amy Louise Scheehle, a fiery redhead with an even brighter spirit, passed away on February 20, 2025. She was born on July 19, 1953, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to Dolores (Adkins) and Raymond Satow. Though we all know she wasn’t 39, Amy made it clear that if her obituary said otherwise, she’d come back to haunt us — so here we are, honoring her wishes.

Amy was a force of nature, equal parts kindness and mischief, with a heart big enough to claim every kid who ever sat at her kitchen table as her own. She never met a stranger, only friends she hadn’t yet made. Her sense of humor was as sharp as her eye for detail, whether she was crafting the most intricate bows, painting ceramics with stunning precision (especially those eyes), or belting out the wrong lyrics to every song on the radio.

For 50 years, she was the devoted partner and soul mate of her husband, Tom, the love of her life. She found immense joy watching him follow his passion for training horses, just as he stood by her in all the things she loved. She was the proud and fiercely loving mother of Tom (Liz) and Sara (George), and a doting grandma to her beloved grand-pup- pies, Sadie, Walter, Betty, and Allie.

Amy’s legacy will live on in the laughter she inspired, the love she gave so freely, and the countless memories she created with family and friends who became family. She will be cremated, and in true Amy fashion, her life will be celebrated with a private gathering of those she loved most.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to The Road Home Animal Project — a cause that, like Amy, stands for giving love to those who need it most.

Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
