Gregory “Greg” Walter Holt, 81, of Dillonvale, OH formerly of Bridgeport Ohio, passed away at EORH on February 03, 2025, surrounded by family. Greg started his career as a camera man for WTRF TV in Wheeling, West Virginia, he went to school and became the Game Warden of Athens, Ohio before taking the Position Of Belmont County Game Warden for 28.5 years. After he retired from the state of Ohio, He worked for a private security company called CIU and Associates as a driver and private investigator. Greg also enjoyed fixing other peoples Computers and working security at Jamboree in the Hills. In his free time he loved to travel, going to several beaches, and Rio De Janeiro. He love to go on walks and hikes in his younger years. He was a private person, loved good conversation and animals. He was a great problem solver. A former member of Lancaster Chapel Church on Sunset Heights.
He was preceded in death by parents Everett and Lila Lou (Smith) Holt.
He is survived by his brother Bill (Phyllis) Holt of Wheeling and his sister Cindy (Fritz) Caruth of St. Clairsville, many nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family are invited for visitation on Saturday February 8th from 2-6pm with services at 4pm with Rev. Jim Monogioudis at Schuetz Funeral Home 4719 Jacob St. Wheeling WV 26003.
