RUTH PICKENPAUGH

Born on March 13, 1927, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles Ford and Anna Louise Smith Heddleson.

Ruth was a dairy farmer by trade, and a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keith Pickenpaugh, and her siblings, Bill Heddleson and Hazel Green.

Surviving are her children Don (Julia) Pickenpaugh, Dave Pickenpaugh, Carol (Dave) Lash, and Peggy (Jeff) Aland; her grandchildren Katie (Torben) Christiansen, Jason Pickenpaugh, Ashley Rankin, Heather (Mike) Hodge, and Kevin Hochstrasser; and her great-grandchildren Kyle, Devin, Sofia, and Elaina.

Ruth’s family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Beacon House for their sincere love and care they provided Ruth during her stay.

In accordance with her wishes, private services will be held to honor her memory. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville.
