DANNY WATT

Danny was born August 18, 1937 in Shadyside, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph & Leona Tarbet Watt.

Danny was retired shipping floor foreman from Shadyside Stamping and enjoyed his retirement for 32 years. He spent eight years in the Naval Reserves and was past president of the Shadyside Lions Club. If you knew Danny, he most likely assisted you in some way, as he was always available to support anyone in need. When Danny’s wife fell ill, he became her caregiver for several years until her passing in 2007. He was a wonderful provider, loving husband, devoted father & pap. He was an honest & kind man with a quiet strength and a very witty humor. His stories, jingles, smiles & blue eyes will be missed by all whom had the opportunity to know him.

In addition to his wife Nada (Woods) Watt, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers & three sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are his children Jeffrey J. Watt of Shadyside, Ohio & Danna (Tim) Winiesdorffer of Denton, TX., one brother, Larry (Jackie) Watt of Sunbury, Ohio, & one brother-in-law, Marvin Woods of Baltimore, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Brody(Michelle) Watt, Torri(Fisher) Bertke, & Dane Winiesdorffer. He was Pap-pap to his two great grandchildren, Fletcher & Teigan Bertke who loved to visit him.

A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
