PATRICIA HITCHCOCK

Patricia D. Hitchcock, 77, formerly of Bellaire passed away on March 12, 2025, at WVU Medicine, Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Born on November 11, 1947, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Mary Holtz Hitchcock. Patricia lived a life marked by warmth, compassion, and devotion to her loved ones.
Her professional journey was dedicated to the field of healthcare, where she served diligently as a surgical technician for many years, contributing her skills to various healthcare organizations. Patricia eventually retired from the Digestive Health Clinic, leaving behind a legacy of care and professionalism that touched countless lives.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, particularly her daughters and grandchildren, who always remained her top priority. Her genuine kindness and capacity for giving made her a treasured friend to many. She had a remarkable ability to lead with love and compassion, endearing her to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In her later years, Patricia discovered a passion for 4D art. Her interests extended to spending quality time with friends and embracing every moment of connection with those around her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Dawn White.
Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Dana (Bob) Barsch, grandchildren; Zachary, Logan, Noah and Paige White and Malina Barsch, one great-grandson, Kaison White, brothers; William (Penny) Hitchcock and their children Jenny (Dave) Bates and Jason (Lindsey) Hitchcock, and Charles (Monika) Hitchcock and their daughter, Jessica (Franz) Sal, dear friends, Roberta (Jay) and Sarah as well as many blessed cousins who participated in a Rosary group with her.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family and have been entrusted to Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street Bellaire Ohio.
The world has lost a truly special soul, but Patricia’s spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of those whose lives she touched.
