PATRICIA OLESKA
Patricia Ann Oleska, 74, of Shadyside passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio,
She was born on July 9, 1950, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late William J. and Julia Ann Sladick Skapik Sr.
Patricia dedicated her professional life to serving as an Office Administrator for the Upper Ohio Valley Presbytery, where she worked diligently and with unwavering commitment.
Throughout her life, Patricia was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; Donna Kubiak, Rebecca Pettit and William Skapik Jr.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 53 years, David L. Oleska, daughters, Jennifer (Roger) Edgell of Worthington West Virginia, and Andrea (Brian) Schamp of Shadyside, brother, James Skapik of Yorkville, granddaughter, Abigail Edgell, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street Bellaire Ohio on Sunday March 23, 2025 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Monday March 24, 2025 at 10am with Father Daniel Heusel as celebrant. Interment will follow immediately after in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire Ohio.
