JOHN STROPE
John Thomas Strope, 73, of Bellaire passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 13, 1951, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Paul and Beatrice (Schellenberg) Strope.
He retired from the Village of Bellaire Water Treatment Plant and was Methodist by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Drake Hicks-Strope.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Donna (Sovich) Strope, sons, Ryan (Stephanie) Strope, and Chad Strope, grandchildren, Cory, Ariyauna, and Logan Strope. Sister, Joan (Bill) Cannon, Uncle, Ralph (Carol) Strope, close friends Chic and Sue Helms, and several nieces and nephews complete his family.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 12 till the time of service at 3pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 439312. Officiating the funeral service is Rev. William Fulton.
