PAUL (MORRY) BETTINI

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Paul (Morry) Bettini, on February 13th in Fairhope, AL, after a brief illness.
He was born on September 26, 1943, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Sam and Anne Orban Bettini. He was a 1961 graduate of Bellaire St. John Central High Sahcool and attended Steubenville College.
Morry was professionally known as Mark Palmer. He was a singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter. Singing and entertaining was his passion. He was a talented musician who spent much of his life performing and traveling throughout the states. Part of his musical career included working with The Four Guys in Nashville, Hank Williams, Jr. at the Grand Ole Opry, and Sam Bettini’s Big Band.
Morry leaves behind his soulmate of 34 years, Rosetta, a daughter Lorraine (Steve), three grandchildren, Emerson, Camden, and Addison, sisters Alfredda, Mary Anne (Tony), Kathryn (Steve), Stephaie (Lawrence), numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs Cherry Cherry and Holly Holy.
Morry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
At his request, his body was donated to the University of Alabama for research.
A private family memorial to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
