Bridgeport outshoots Edison 80-64
RICHMOND — Bridgeport led by two at the half, 37-35, but outscored Edison 43-29 after the break to run away, 80-64, in boys’ high school basketball action.
The Bulldogs placed four players in twin figures as Jaleel Vincent led the way with 18, one more than Coen Brinker.
Avery Jackson chipped in 16 and Jaki Threet a dozen.
Jackson McBane had 18 for the Wildcats. Bryce Rogers added 14, Kyle Long 13 and Jayen Wiley 12.
Cambridge 66, Bellaire 46
CAMBRIDGE — A 20-point third quarter allowed the Bobcats to pull away from the visiting Big Reds.
Garrett Carpenter and Jesiah Barnett both netted 20 points for Cambridge.
Caleb Jewell had 17 for Bellaire. Raekwon Pettigew finished with 14.

Union Local 41, Indian Creek 37
WINTERSVILLE — The Jets (6-1) received 17 points from Laken Vinskovich in earning a huge road win over the Redskins (5-2).
Ella Pietranton added nine, Delaney Butler had eight and Myah Martin seven.
Kayden Walker had a game-best 20 for Indian Creek.

East Liverpool Sweeps Brooke
Boys
The Potters rolled a 1,880 to the Bruins’ 1,715 as Darion Hilton had a 179 game and 338 series for Brooke. Brady Yost rolled a 177 and 325.
Girls
The Potters totaled 1,795 to the Bruins’ 1,226 as Addison Rudibaugh had games of 247 and 202 for a 449 series.
Brooke was led by Kaylee Tuttle with games of 180 and 148 for a 328 series.
